Workshop 1: Translate Matlab Coded Wireless Waveforms onto Real-Time Performing SDR Hardware

After the completion of this workshop, the participants will be able to:

  • Understand the relationship between OFDM theory and the minimum required processing blocks in an actual SDR OFDM waveform
  • Start from a Matlab script application and move it to a System Generator model for automatic HDL code/bitstream generation
  • Handle Nutaq’s PicoSDR hardware and use Nutaq’s software tools to perform hardware-in-the loop tests.
  • Create Host applications under Simulink / GNU Radio to configure Nutaq’s PicoSDR and exchange data with it in real-time.

Workshop 2: Discover SDR-Based LTE & Pave the Way to Smarter Testing

After the completion of this workshop, the participant will be able to perform on SDR-based LTE equipment key tasks such as inter-cell interference coordination, handover management, radio planning, network dimensioning, UE conformance testing and more.
